We are focused on serving diverse families with compassion, leading individuals to salvation, and discipling each one to experience the fullness of Christ.
Our Vision at Seedbed 61 is based on Isaiah 61
~ To be "The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."~
1. Our Leadership is Authentic, displaying Discernment and Integrity
We demonstrate our personal relationship with Christ by daily submitting to Him and renewing our minds to His will for us.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God ~Romans 12:1-2
2. We are dedicated to Serving
We demonstrate this by showing our service is fueled by God’s Love for others and we submit ourselves to be used by Him.
“And above all things have fervent love for one another, for ‘love will cover a multitude of sins.’ Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” ~1 Peter 4:8-10
3. We are focused on Family
We provide resources to children, families, and those without families to provide for physical and spiritual needs.
“For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives his name.” ~Ephesians 3:14-15
4. We choose to be a Diverse and Unified group of God’s people
We recognize the universal brotherhood of every blood-washed believer. We demonstrate our unity by the power of the Holy Spirit, working together toward common spiritual goals.
“For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” ~Romans 12:4-5
5. We minister with Compassion
We demonstrate this by reaching out to those in need, forgiving those who hurt us, and seeking to comfort, console and heal the brokenhearted and downtrodden.
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another…” ~Colossians 3:12-13
What we all believe about God is one of the most important things about us. This is a safe community where you can explore and take steps of faith. Seedbed 61's foundational beliefs are centered around Jesus and the message we have about Him found in scripture.
We believe the Bible is inspired and the authoritative Word of God and one of the primary ways God speaks to us today. We believe there is one God who eternally exists in three persons (Holy Trinity): Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God revealed Himself to us in human form, through the person of Jesus Christ. God set us right with Himself, He saved us, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God's presence is always with us and among us through the Holy Spirit, who leads, guides, convicts, and encourages us. When we place our faith, our trust, in Jesus, we enter into a new kind of life empowered by the Spirit. While we have a personal faith, we also have a shared faith and it is to be lived out in the context of authentic Biblical community, God's church.
Seedbed 61 is a non-denominational body in the mainstream of Protestant Christianity. We are part of a group of independent congregations that associate together in a movement known as the Church of God with general offices located in Anderson, Indiana. Jacque (pronounced “Jackie”) Mann resides in Medway, Ohio with her husband of 14 years, Steven, and ten-year-old son Seth. Her family has attended Salem Church of God in Clayton, Ohio and Maiden Lane Church of God in Springfield, Ohio. Jacque has also served the National Office of Church of God Ministries in the Leadership Focus ordination process. She is also developing a robust discipleship program which includes a design for a large mentoring network to help lead individuals to sustained life change.
I am a passionate evangelist focused on introducing individuals to the love of Christ and discipling others to enter into God's presence through prayer, worship, and the careful study of His Word. God has developed my various professional skill sets over the years working as as a teacher and real estate agent. I also gained experience in business administration as the Center Director for Sylvan Learning Center in Vandalia, Ohio, and most recently as the Academic Department Secretary at Miami Valley Career Technology Center in Clayton, Ohio.
I attended The Ohio State University and met my husband in 2006 during a Bible study. On July 7th of 2007, I had a life-transforming conversion which changed my life’s trajectory entirely. I was immediately focused on sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and telling others of His amazing work in my life. He has delivered me from a variety of very difficult circumstances, including serious health conditions. All along my path I can clearly see His work in my life, which spurs me on to helping people find Him on their own.
In 2018, I began the ordination process with the idea of creating an online discipleship program for the church. The concept of the program is to equip a community of congregation members as a support system to help new believers discover how they are uniquely designed, while developing biblical literacy and spiritual disciplines. While this is still a strong passion of mine, the call on my life to serve a local congregation has become my highest priority.
In early 2023 God whispered the name Seedbed 61 into my heart and a new church plant was formed from the ashes. We are excited to see this dream becoming a reality.
